Happy Birthday Cathy!
Chuck and I helped Cathy celebrate her birthday at Weasel Boy Brewery in Zanesville with a Blue Grass Band. Good entertainment, great company and White Castles for the ride home...can't imagine a finer birthday.

Day 21: Let it Snow!
As I am bowling, I get a voice mail from my wife that her school already called off for Friday and it sounds like she is doing a snow dance on the bed as she is yelling and screaming in joy! So practice from 12:00-2 and Gordon Biersch at 6:30 with Staffans and my day off is a wrap.

Day 17: A Surprise Visit
Basketball practice at noon and then a couple of hours of recording grades, but everything is finished and sent....start grading period 3 tomorrow. Chad, Lisa, Jake, Joe and Ellie all stopped by to visit for awhile on this holiday evening. A nice surprise after a restful break.

Basketball Bucks New Number One!
Went to watch West Jeff's boys basketball team play last night with Tom, Eric and Zack. We stopped at Kingys Pizza and watched the Buckeyes defeat Penn State before making our way down the road to Berne Union as all three WJ teams won. Go Riders, Go Bucks!

January 12th: Two hour delay
We started today off with a two hour delay...Cathy of course had a normal day, snow or no snow! The periods went by quickly with the students attempting to finish up all of their projects for the end of the second grading period. We have Thursday to wrap things up and Friday as a teacher work day.

A little snow scare and WJ went to an early release today at 12:30. Guess where my kids spent their time off?

January 10th
Sorry John, I had to pull rank and confiscate the truck because the van finally said enough is enough...probably fuel line freeze up. So while the Ford is recovering I will be the cowboy in the blue Dodge. John thinks that it is time to trade the ole' girl in on a new Challenger. We'll see how it all works out, but until then, please pick the boy up if you see him hitchhiking!
